ShamRock Music Festival
2ND, 3rd & 4th JULY
CAVAN EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

IRELAND’S BIGGEST EVER TRIBUTE FESTIVAL
70 ACTS, 3 STAGES, 3 DAYS…..
IT’S GOING TO BE EVEN BETTER THAN THE REAL THING!

Ireland’s biggest ever tribute festival hits Ireland this summer. Just like everything else in this country, festivals became all about ripping people off and getting away with it. Well, just like Bob Dylan said “the times they are a changin”. So rather than just complaining about being charged €240 to get to a festival, €35 for a t-shirt, and €20 for a burger and a pint …..

ShamRock is going to do things very different!

The entire festival operates on the idea that top class entertainment doesn’t have to cost the earth. Why should you pay for some celebrity to sip champagne in the VIP area, while you stand out in the rain, knee deep in mud, half a mile away from the stage?

Where else can you hear U2, AC/DC, Oasis and The Beatles play the riffs you crave and sing the chorus’ you love, all with one ticket. Enjoy Queen in their pomp, Metallica at their heaviest and even our Bono trying to save the world, at a price that won’t cost the earth.

All with 12 of the countries top comedians including Jason Byrne, PJ Gallagher & John Kenny thrown in for good measure. There will also be an original acts stage featuring 40 of Irelands best up and coming bands.

The festival is a creation of Elevation Entertainment. We have gained inspiration from the Glastonbudget festival in England, which receives an audience of over 15,000 people each day. The main difference being that we have added the comedy stage to bring some celebrity to the entertainment, and we feature two indoor stages and one outdoor.

The festival focuses on quality tribute bands, rather than the cheesy wig wearing pub band most people might imagine. Each day will offer something different to the audience with Friday covering the 60’, 70’and early 80’s. Saturday featuring late 80’s, 90’s and contempory acts, while Sunday is a heavy rock tribute day. We aim to be more family friendly than the big festivals, with no crowd congestion, and three indoor arenas with every facility needed.

The Classic Beatles have played with Sir George Martin, and for Queen Elizabeth of England. Reviews of them include “Absolutely superb”- Gerry Ryan and “My second favourite band after the real ones”- Ryan Tubridy.

Oasish have musicians who have toured with Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Joe Strummer, Chesney Hawkes, Vanessa Mae and The Who. The Sunday Times reported that-“To see Oasish live is as good as seeing the real oasis, only better”

Rattle and hum have been labeled- “The finest U2 tribute band on the planet” by Hot Press. All the other bands have received glowing praise from those they mimic, including Michael Stipe, Jimmy Page, Brian May, Brandon Flowers, Robert Plant, Mick Fleetwood and Roger Taylor. Guns2Roses even toured for over a year with Steven Adler (original Guns N Roses drummer).

With tickets from E29.50, and 70 acts, featuring on 3 stages over 3 days…July will see Cavan host it’s biggest rock festival ever!

• Friday Ticket- E29.50
• Saturday Ticket- E34.50
