Sandkerwa Beer Festival

The Sandkerwa (sometimes sandy Festival) is the traditional Bamberger festival , held annually in August in the historic old town - more specifically in the sand, which is around the sandy road takes place -. Each year it attracts around 300,000 visitors over five days (Thursday to Monday) and is one of the largest folk festivals in Bavaria.
