What to expect There is usually a theme for 2009 it is a masquerade like the Venice carnaval. The Bonhomme Ball at Fairmont Le Château Frontena is an awesome night out as is the closing ceremony. Activities include: snow sculptures, canoe races and dogsled races. The Québec Carnival is the largest winter carnival in the world and is third on the List of Top Carnivals after the Carnaval in Rio and New Orleans.
