Oxegen Music Festival 2010

When & Where Oxegen Music Festival occurs the first weekend of July in Punchestown Race course outside the meeting place of the Kings (Naas) Co. Kildare in Ireland.

Oxegen 2010 occurs from Friday July 9th to Sunday 11th.

Previous music acts at Oxgen include Green Day, The Artic Monkeys, The Killers & Snoop Dogg (the Doggfather)the Godfather, the late great James Brown.

Getting there Fly into Dublin airport & take a bus to Naas. There is also a train service available from Dublin to the neighbouring town of Sallins here.

Oxegen Line-Up 2010

Eminem, Muse, Jay-Z, Black Eyed Peas, Kasabian, The Prodigy, Florence and the Machine, Paolo Nutini, Faithless, Stereophonics, David Guetta, Vampire Weekend, Mumford and Sons, John Mayer, Hot Chip, Calvin Harris, Newton Faulkner, Gossip, The Temper Trap, Empire of the Sun, Goldfrapp, La Roux, Wolfmother, Rise Against, The Coral, Broken Social Scene, Ellie Goulding, Two Door Cinema Club, Armand Van Helden, Steve Angello, Simian Mobile Disco, Erol Alkan, Steve Aoki, A-Trak and Aeroplane. The launch took place at The Academy. 33 acts in total were announced at this time, including the first Irish act (Two Door Cinema Club).

Artists announced on 8 March 2010 included headliner Arcade Fire as well as Fatboy Slim.

Accommodation Naas has great budget hotels, bed n breakfasts (b'n'bs) & budget accommodation here & there's also lots of room to camp at Punchestown.

Sunshine at Oxegen ?

Watch out for predictable rain. The pig feels it in his tail for 2010 right but noone says it like the press "Nothing Could Rain on Oxigen's Parade" Irish Independent, 9th July 2007

Oxegen tickets sold out in less then 20 minutes in 2008. The strange thing there were no music acts announced at the time. There was 80,000 tickets !
