Henley RegattaWhat to expect It’s an old style English rowing racing competition during the day and lots of modern English partying during the night as more and more people are knocked out of the competition. The course is 2112 metres long and if you want to race you have to qualify 2 weeks in advance. Crashes on the water are not uncommon due to the slender course and amateurs are not accepted. To be honest the majority of people are spectators chilling on the banks of London’s Thames with a cool beer. Getting there Book a flight into any of Londons Airports or book a train to the festival here. Londons Royal RegattaWhere to stay London has lots of great hotels and cheap accommodation available here.
