Glenroe Harvest Festival takes place from September 10th to September 17th. A week long festival with something for everyone.
Glenroe is situated in the heart of the Ballyhoura Mountains, just 8 miles from Mitchelstown which is just 45 minutes drive from Cork City or 50 minutes from Limerick City.

To headline Glenroe Harvest Festival in 2011 on Saturday 17th There is a Monster BBQ and The Saw Doctors are in the Marquee supported by The Antics followed by DJ Paddy Mac.

On Thursday 15th Crystal Swing are in the Marquee. This promises to be a great evening when Derek takes to stage to perform the Huckle Buck.
Other events during the week include Saturday 10th Hurling Blitz, Sunday 11th Family Fun Sunday with something for everyone to enjoy, Monday 12th Bingo Bonanza Night in the Marquee, Wednesday 14th A Fashion Show which will showcase the very best of style from local boutiques. Thursday 15th Dancing to Crysal Swing in the Marquee, Friday 16th Teenage Disco in the Marquee and Saturday 17th Monster BBQ and The Saw Doctors.

Glenroe Harvest Festival is in it 3rd year. In 2009 a local band Rebel Hearts headlined the Festival and in 2010 Sharon Shannon and her big band and Mundy were the main attraction. The Saw Doctors in 2011 is going to be the best yet.
