Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastian the crowds on the cobble stone streets.

It is usually the 3rd weedend of January but the right date has to do with Saint Sebastian a Catholic Saint.

This fabulous event takes place in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

From thursday to sunday the old city is visited by thousands of people from all over the island and abroud. The Puerto Rican artisans are grouped together in a building and they show their artistic proposals for the fair.
Around the city in all of the squares there are art and musical exhibitions. The street musicians and the cabezudos (people with giant puppet heads) dance and walk amongst the crowd. Eveyone is in a very festive mood dancing and partying.
There is a big stage where major musicians and artist play for the public all for free.

Hotels get booked months in advance and the towns gets over 500,000 people during the 4 days.

Its very colorful and lots of fun.
