Electric Picnic is an awesome music festival which caters for a more mature audience in Ireland. But don't be deceived this is boudoir sexy with erotic shows. If Oxegen music festival were bebo.com, Electric Picnic music festival would be facebook.com - at least in an Irish context.

This boutique music festival usually occurs on the first weekend of September. The venue is Stradbally in Laois - middle of Ireland, only 50 minutes from Dublin. Crowds of 34,000 came in 2007. It keeps getting bigger - it's only in it's 4th year and Electric Picnic started as a one day event !

There's a great variety here from theme bars, comedy shows, theatre shows, great music and a hedonistic atmosphere. (see above naked dude)
