San Diego Brotherhood Lions Club and American Festival will be sponsoring a Free event for the First Annual Earth Day in National City and the south bay of San Diego. EDCO will be providing a Free E-Waste Drop-Off at the 650 E. 14th Street National City CA 91950.

Kool Climate Kids, Greenview Charter High School will be organizing the recycling efforts at this year’s America Going Green to promote waste reduction and resource conservation. California Solar Innovation will be sponsoring the electrical energy that will power the stage by utilizing clean energy from the SUN.

There will be Live performances such as Reggae, Gospel, Blues and Rock-n-Roll Music with East of Echo, Entities, Communist Kayte ~ Zumba by Ninfa ~Paul Mitchell the School ~Eco parade lead by ZUMBA, kids’ activities & eco education, games like ring toss and much more. At the festival there are emerging and obtainable technologies available to purchase that promote solutions to environmental problems, ways to green the world by saving energy, reducing pollution, recycling, healthy living, green home products, educational workshops and eco-businesses.

One Hundred Exhibitors, educational workshops, Diabetic and health stations, children’s activities and an Eco Parade. The event also features eco awareness to conserve the Earth eco environment, cultural arts, dance, and live music at a concert stage.

American Going Green Festival is a multi-city campaign dedicated to connecting people to resources and information for a greener planet, life with a focus on the dawning era of creativity, and innovation in "green technology" (also known as "clean technology"). The Festivals are bringing together pioneers dedicated to the promise of a healthier planet, as well as the prospect of growing businesses that promote sustainability.


This will have a serious positive impact on air quality and help provide sustainability for our planet. All of the electronic products handled are recycled and processed within North America using "in house" processing centers and other responsible recycling partner facilities. Paul Mitchell Salons/Schools providing FREE haircuts and styles, at the event, to support the Gulf crisis by recycling hair to absorb the oil.
