What A weekend of live music from the best of Irish and International acts will be staged in a Kayham Tent, with a capacity of 4,500 each night, over looking the Atlantic Coast in Kilkee Co. Clare. A carnival of watersport activities will kick off from Kilkee bay to Spanish Point over the three day weekend and an official Surfing Event on the breathtaking Doughmore beach in Doonbeg on Saturday the 8th in association with the West Coast Surf Club. Cois Fharraige, a unique innovative Surf Festival with a mix of Live Music, Surf and Watersports!
Who Anyone can go to Cois Fharraige, buy a ticket. There will be surfing lessons available for all with Kilkee Surf Club. So get involved ! Why Sony Ericsson (Cois Fharraige Sponsors) are passionate surfers and musicians - therefore they want to hold this festival. No wait a minute, Sony Ericsson are looking to advertise their new phones. This is how they will do it, by appearing super surfer cool. But hey let's not bite the hand that feeds us. Ok let's hope this festival picks up good crowds because it's a excellent concept and a great time of year. Let's hope Cois Fharraige snowballs in popularity like so many other awesome Irish festivals like Oxegen & Electric Picnic.

Weather Ireland always unpredictable. Although in my opinon September is the best month of the year. Festival Pig Fact Ireland has the best surf in Europe. 'Tis gospel bull, as they say.
