City of Colours Festival

City of Colours Festival

On the 6th September, over 100 street artists will work together to transform Digbeth, into The City of Colours - one of the UK’s largest outdoor street art galleries.

The streets will be turned into a sea of colour, music and dancing with live painting from some of the UKs top artists, with four music stages, b boy battles, beatboxers, live illustration battles, and many other exciting visual arts. Artists on the line up include Inkie, Phlegm, Andy Council, Dale Grimshaw, Dscreet, Dank, Soker, Gent 48 and many more!

Ever fancied seeing if you could paint like Banksy or pop like Ashley Banjo? Get involved with one of our workshops where you can learn about graffiti art, break dancing, music production or DJing – registrations opening on the website in June.

Hosted by a partnership of over 20 expert organisations led by Street Art Birmingham, including The Bench 504, The Custard Factory, St Basils, The Rainbow, GraffitiArtist.com and Access to Music, the City of Colours team have been working round the clock to produce this exciting new addition to the city’s creative quarter and calendar of cultural events!
