The Storefront is a 20-bed emergency night shelter; the only one in San Diego County specifically designed for homeless, runaway, and “street” youth. Every night in San Diego County, an estimated 2,000 youth, ages 12 to 17, live on the streets or in parks and abandoned automobiles.
The goal of The Storefront is to return young people to their families when possible, or to find them independent living arrangements.
