When & Where The Air Guitar Championships usually takes place in the third week of August in Oulu, Finland.

In 2010 the international air guitar competition will take place from 25th-28th August.

It's hard to think of watching someone air guitar for an hour but somehow those mad Finns have turned Air guitar into a three day festival. Some countries (Australia, Japan) go through rigourous domestic competitions to represent their countries.

Perform in Oulu Air Guitar Festival!

There's a possibility to qualify for the Oulu Air Guitar World Championships in the "qualifying round" in Oulu. Don't think you're up to it ? there's a high altitude air guitar training camp on the Wednesday before the air guitar world championships kicks off.
