Agbe Music Of Africa

Agbe Music Of Africa is a traditional music and Dance group based in Accra, Ghana; the capital city of Ghana(West Africa). The group performs traditional drumming,dancing,contemporary, African music and Magic show. The also have its own creative dances and choreographed dance dance pieces.

Through Kodzo Kuwornu,the Artistic Director.
Agbe Music Of Africa, which is derived from "Ewe" language, simply means

"Life Music Of Africa"

Also the group have some young dancer and drummers who are verry talented.This young members have did alot of joint programme with dance companies, like National Dance Company, Noyam Dance Company and some artiste like Kojo Antwi and others.

Some of this members travelle to some countries like Italy,Isreal,U.A.E.Togo.Benin Nigeria and Senegal. The group also teach druming and dancing some touris from U.S.A,New York Unversity in Ghana.And also some schools in Ghana.

The members have been prforming at "KIDDA FEST" festival which is held in Ghana, guests of the President of Ghana include Queen Elisabeth President of Brunei and Jamaica's Prime minister.

We perform alongside the ghana Dance Ensembleof the ceremony of African Football Tournament host by Ghana. Such as CAF"99 and CAN"2000. We also educate the youth about teenage pregnancy, enviromental hazards and the deadly disease HIV-AIDS through dance, drumming and music.
Agbe Music Of Africa's mission is to promote and
sustain African Culture by presenting dance, drumming and music that illuminates the richness and diversity of African traditional values.
