World Bog Snorkelling Championships

When & Where The World-Bog-Snorkelling-Championship usually takes place in the August Bank Holiday in the UK: the last weekend of August. It takes place in the Waen Rhydd Peat Bog, in the town of Llanwrtyd Wells in Powys, Wales.

What to Expect Get into a pair of flippers and snorkel stuff and squirm your way through 150ft of slurry and bog. It is a race with no conventional strokes permitted and wet-suits are optional.
