When & Where The Dreaming Festival is an Australian festival which usually takes place at Woodford in Queensland Australia within the first 2 weeks of June.
What to Expect This is Australia’s second biggest indigenous festival (the biggest being Woodford Folk Festival ). Expect Expect hundreds of performers representing the different indigenous aborigine tribes from across Australia. There’s fires lit every night and tribal ceremony and ritual takes over with the hollow yet complicated sound of Aborigine didgeredoos possessing everyone into a natural state of dance. During the days there’s street theatres and performers, markets, traditional healing ceremonies as well as story tellers.
