When & Where Usually the last weekend in January, in 2009 the festival is on 28 January - 01 February. This festival takes place in Dublin's Cultural Quarter: Temple Bar, Ireland.

What to expect Irish Music and culture: Pubs blaring out traditional Irish music (traceol), workshops, story-telling, Guinness consuming and book readings. Fiddle master classes are also available. Temple-Bar is renowned for wild nights and mighty craic so make sure you get there.

Fly direct into Dublin airport or take a train from any city in Ireland.

Accommodation Temple-Bar has a wealth of cheap but great quality Hostels & excellent Hotels too.

Traditonal Musicians In 2008 many of Ireland's most talented traditional musicians performed such as Noel Hill, Tommy Peoples, Seamus Creagh, Peter Horan will perform. A rare performance by legendary band Skara Brae and award-winning piper, Sean McKeon. 2009 acts are still being confirmed.
