Sauti za Busara, - When & Where The Sauti za Busara occurs on the island of Zanzibar off the coast of Tanzania in Africa. It usually takes place around mid-February. The dates for 2010 are 11th - 16th February. What to expect Its a type of fringe festival events include Pemban bullfight, ngalawa race, fashion show, taarab or kidumbak night, African music disco, art exhibitions, traditional Zanzibar Dhow boat race, Swahili food event or even putting on an extra show of one of the visiting international bands. The festival takes place in Stonetown for the first four days (there's an awesome opening parade there) and then moves to the beach for the finale night.
