New-Years-Eve-Time-Square

New-Years-Eve-Time-Square-2008

New Years Eve Time Square

New-Years-Eve-Time-Square-2008 When & Where Every New Years Eve on the Bow Tie of Times Square (42nd to 47th Sts. Between Broadway & 7th Ave), New York City.

What happens ? Confetti, street drinking (although you can be arrested for doing so!), American flags, kissing, singing dancing, a new years countdown in video and pictures. In the last minute of the year a giant illuminated Waterford crystal ball is lowered. The Broadway countdown stage is the center of the celebrations as 1 million happy people forget the year past and look forward to the next one. The Ball eventually disappears as it's lights are turned off and the street crowd celebrates ecstatically.

Getting there Ok, getting to New Years on Time Square is simple, Book a flight into any of New York's airports or take a train from anywhere in America.
