When & Where The National-Winter-Ales usually occurs the third week in January: in 2009 it's the 21st-24th January at the New Century Hall in Manchester England. In next National Winter Ales Festival occurs from the 20-23 January 2010. What to expect Ales and stouts are the main focus of this beer festival. However there is also a selsction of over 200 British and international beers: Wheat Beers from Bavaria, Smoked Beers, Bock Beers, Lambic fruit beers (Kriek, Frambozen, Cassis & Peche), Blonde Ales like Duvel, Trappist Ales and basically any beer that is brewed around Christmas. Getting there Fly into Manchester or any UK airport here or go by rail to Victoria Station.
