When & Where This British beer festival usually occurs the third week in January in Manchester England.
The Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) National Winters Ales Festival 2011 kicks off on Wednesday 19th January at the Sheridan Suite, Manchester, M40 8EA and runs through to Saturday 22nd January.
Showcasing more than 200 British and Foreign beers, Real Ale in a Bottle, Ciders and Perries, this national event is a must for all real ale, cider and perry lovers or just those looking for a good night out! This prestigious event hosts CAMRA’s Winter Beer of Britain Competition on the Wednesday.
Opening Hours and Prices
Wednesday 19th – 5pm to 10pm (£2, Concession £1)
Thursday 20th – 12 noon to 10.30pm (£2, Concession £1)
Friday 21st – 12 noon to 10.30pm (£3, After 4.30pm £5)
Saturday 22nd – 12 noon to 10.30pm (£4)
Concessions apply to students, pensioners and members of the armed forces (suitable ID to be shown)

What to expect Ales and stouts are the main focus of this beer festival. However there is also a selsction of over 200 British and international beers: Wheat Beers from Bavaria, Smoked Beers, Bock Beers, Lambic fruit beers (Kriek, Frambozen, Cassis & Peche), Blonde Ales like Duvel, Trappist Ales and basically any beer that is brewed around Christmas.
