When & Where The Medieval-Festival-San-Marino is a traditional Festival which takes place over the last weekend in July in San Marino : a state land locked by Italy. The nearest town in Italy is Rimini.
What to Expect The sound of trumpets and drums in the distance as you watch Medieval theatre performances, archery competitions, jousting competitions and parades. San Marino is the world’s longest established Republic and expect everyone dressed as they were when it was first declared a Republicca: period costumes. There’s also fire breathing displays as well as a medieval roller-boogie dance.
