When & Where The Louisburgh Traditional Festival usually takes place during the last weekend in April or the first weekend in May in the town of Louisburgh, County Mayo in Ireland.
In 2011 the festival dates are April 29th - 2nd May.
What to Expect This tra-music Irish festival is renowned for it’s impromptu music sessions. There’s lots of traditional Irish music in all the pub in town. There are also performances and master classes in Ballads, Accordion, Banjo, Concertina, Fiddle, Flute, Tin Whistle, Uilleann Pipes & Set Dance. At the end of the festival there’s the Grand Concert / Ceolchoirm Na Féile .
