Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival History The first blues festival (one day event) was held in 1986 and consisted of local residents on a flatbed truck as a stage. The festival has grown to a three-day event, with three stages and several activities like the Blues in Schools program, the Kenneth Freemyer 5K Run, and the Tour da’ Delta bicycle tour. This blues music festival has endured a few headaches regarding the name rights and now would like to be referred to as the "Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival" but some names just don't stick!Did you like this article ?
