Ireland & UK festivals season really kicks off in the Summer months but there if you're visiting during the Winter there are still lots of fun & crazy events that deserve a visit such as Hogmanay in Scotland, Up Helly AA in the Shetlands or Devon's tar barrel carrying competition.

Ireland also has lots of things on throughout the Winter like the jazz festival in Cork, the traditional Irish music festival in Ennis in fact there's quite a few 'tra-festivals' in different towns- weekends packed with lively pubs and great craic and let's not forget Paddys day in March.
