How Weird Festival

When & Where The How Weird Festival usually occurs around early May in San Francisco California. Centered at Howard and 2nd Sts. This San Fran festival is AKA The How Weird Street Faire.

Erm..what is it? Expect ten blocks of art and celebration, in 2009 there was ten stages of music. Awesome dance music & nudity can happen! Plus performances and colorful costumes, vendors from around the world, food and drinks. How Weird celebrates things that bring peace to the world in particular it focuses on technology that brings unity. Of course things heat up after 7pm at the How Weird at Night Out.




What's the angle? The How Weird Street Faire is an experiment in creating peace, bringing together a wide range of eclectic styles and communities.

How Weird History

It began as a small gathering in 2000 outside of the World Peace Through Technology Organization headquarters on Howard Street. Over ten thousand people attended in 2009 at our the new location further down Howard Street. How Weird Street Faire has become a San Francisco tradition. The How Weird Street Faire celebrates San Francisco's creativity, community, and conscious awareness. The faire is also the unofficial start of the city's famous street fair season, attracting people from across the city and world.
