When & Where The Dubai Shopping Festival usually is in January/February for one month of shopping ! The shopping festival begins mid January and ends mid February every year.

The Gold Souk at Sikkat al-Khali St is Dubai's most famous bazaar with narrow streets lined with shop windows sparkling with bracelets, necklaces and earrings in 18-, 21-, and 22-carat gold, sold according to weight.

For top brand-name items in fashion and electronic products go to the modern shopping malls around Beniyas Al-Rigga and Al-Hiyafa Road. Also excellent for electronic goods is Al Fahidi Street in Bur Dubai. Cosmos Lane has many stores selling textiles, from cool cottons to exotic brocades.
