When and Where The Bonnaroo Music Festival usually takes place in June for 4/5 days. This American music festival takes place at Great Stage Park on a 700 acre farm in Manchester, which is close to Nashville, in Tennessee.

What to expect To quote Rolling Stone (who awarded Bonaroo festival of the year 2008) "the ultimate over-the-top summer festival". This Nashville music festival showcases the best in American music including indie rock, world music, hip hop, jazz, americana, bluegrass, country music, folk, gospel, reggae, electronica and world style. There are also yoga classes, silent discs and auctions, stand-up comedy tents and lots of awesome markets where you can buy cool stuff...can't get that djembe drum home? Bonnaroo has it's own post office so you can send it home from there.

Odwalla “Ticket to Play” Giveaway

Odwalla is inviting fans to upload videos for opportunities to win VIP passes to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (taking place June 10-13 in Manchester, Tenn.) and perform on the Odwalla stage. You can get the all the details, including the official contest/sweepstakes rules, via the “Fresh Stuff” tab at Odwalla’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Odwalla), but essentially you can “audition” to be a performer in Odwalla’s Fresh Experience Lounge.

The latest initiative in Odwalla’s “Campaign Against Ordinary,” the “Ticket to Play” giveaway and contest is leaving it up to fans to determine what talent to showcase in the video audition. The videos can be musical, danced or dance-like, spoken, artistic, acrobatic, a combination of these or another kind of original performance – anything the fan chooses as long as it is unique, positive and entertaining. After uploading their video via the Odwalla Facebook page, fans will receive an email notifying them that the video has been approved and is on the site’s video gallery. Fans can then encourage friends and family to give it a ‘thumbs up’ and share it with others. Final judging will be done by an independent panel but online feedback will play a large role in helping Odwalla choose its winners.

The contest runs through May 16 and eight grand-prize winners will be announced the following week. Along with receiving two four-day VIP tickets, winners will perform for festival attendees at Odwalla’s “Living Flavor Vending Machine” performance stage – which also is part innovative sampling booth and part advocate podium.

For those fans who prefer to rely on luck (no talent required), Odwalla also will be giving away four-day passes to Bonnaroo every day through May 16 via a sweepstakes also on the “Fresh Stuff” tab on the Odwalla Facebook page. Fans only have to enter a valid email address to be eligible to win. While at the “Fresh Stuff” tab, sweepstakes entrants can check out the video gallery to vote for which acts they feel are most deserving to play at the Odwalla stage at Bonnaroo.
