When & Where The Belfast Carnival 2011 will probably take place on Saturday 18th June.
This Irish-Brasilian festival usually takes place on July 27th or thereabouts in the city of Belfast in Northern Ireland.
What to Expect The week running up to the carnival has lots of educational programmes and workshops about Afro-Carribbean & Brasilian culture. The day itself has a massive parade which starts at Royal Avenue and moves along to Donegall Place. It circles around City Hall then heads back to the High Street, finishing on Custom House Square. The Belfast parade involves locals and international performers from all over the world who have worked tirelessly over an 8 month period to perfect their art & acts. There is also an awesome party in a afterwards not to be missed.
