Alaska Beer Festival

When & Where Usually in the first 2 weeks of January, in 2009 it's January 16 & 17 at the Egan Civic & Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

What to expect Clear Alaskan skies and cloudy beers. For a cover charge or $40 you get a 6 oz. Commemorative glass, 30 samples of beer, ID band, and an official program.

Getting there You can fly direct to Anchorage or take a train there.

Accommodation There is great budget accommodation in Alaska & excellent Hotels available in Anchorage.

There will be over 40 breweries, 150 beers and over 5000 beer enthusiasts to celebrate big winter beers in the middle of a dark Alaskan Winter. There will be live music throughout the event. This year there will be three sessions acts still to be confirmed.
